This programmable crock’s most touted feature, a dual-door top meant to release less heat when you check on your meal, was the one thing Widmayer found unnecessary. Otherwise, he declared it the best: “Its 400-watt heating element holds temperature, it doesn’t lose moisture, and its settings panel is the easiest to use.” Even cleaning it is simple: The ceramic pot wipes down without scrubbing. “You don’t get stuck-on stuff, which can be annoying.”
