Thank god Favre finally retired. But, it's getting old hearing weekly speculation that he might reappear at any given moment, with all the teams that have lost their starting quarterbacks.

Sounds like Alan is a Minnesota Vilosers fan. Write back when you get the World Championship Ring. Oops tried that 4 times over 20 yrs ago, didn't work out. The Saints in their history have had those calls go against them so many times over the years and when they finally do make it to the big dance the NFL decides that they now need to change the overtime rule. A little conspicuous wouldn't you say.

I am damned pissed about the article Jocks Guide to Getting Arrested. I don't mind slamming Ty Law or any of the other NFL stars in the article, but damn it the section "buy alcohol for pairs of under-17 girls in the sleazy hotels of Covington, Kentucky" was a bunch of bullshit. Talking shit about a dead superstar? What an ass Matt Taibbi is!

They should ban that New Orleans Saint football player......from the league.....for that late, low, hit on Farve's ankle. It's bad for the game to not have Farve around...fan of his or not....it will cost the league revenue. The only reason the Saints went to the Superbowl was because of several blown calls(2 in overtime) by the referees. The Saints had a whopping 160 yards of offense....something like that. They got their butts handed to them.

Truth be told. Favre and Cook could have put an end to this a few years ago by simply saying......... Brett doesn't want to attend training camps anymore. But that would open up another can of worms in the NFL so Favre is stuck between the rock and the hard spot.

Your probably just a fan of another NFC team that doesnt want Brett to come back and walk all over your team like he did last year and every year for the past 20 years. Learn to be a fan of the game not just your team. Brett Favre is great for football whether you like him or not. Personally i am a Houston Texans fan so i have no reason to like Favre but i know what he has done for this game and he had the best year of his entire career last year so how can you say enough is enough. Dont be IGNORANT!

[...] It's the way/tone Bus talks about and to Brett. "Hey, Bus," says Favre.nHe speaks slowly, a boy trying to delay a spanking. "I guess I screwed up. I didn't think it was a big deal. I just told him that I might need surgery. He made it into a big thing." Bus stares him down, but his face crumples into an exasperated grin. "Jesus, Brett. You never learn. You guys go talk. I've got goddamn phone calls to make." He pokes a finger at Brett. "Thanks to you." The ankle surgery kerfuffle - getting the procedure done, the speculation goes, may indicate he's coming back - is just the latest production number in year three of "Will He or Won't He Play," Favre's one-man show. At this point everyone is counting ceiling tiles and looking at their watches. "You'd think I'd know better by now," he says. He offers a different kind of smile: sad and weary. "I've learned a lot through the years. What I haven't learned is what I'll do and when I'll do it." In the August 2010 Issue: Brett Favre|Men’s Journal [...]

Frankly, I don't blame cook for being upset with Brett. Favre better be careful or he'll lose his cook as a agent and his career will probably be over rather he wants it or not. I HOPE he retires for good. He's a great QB but enough is enough Brett!
